When I decided to have laser eye surgery, my family eye doctor at suggested that I consider Boothe Eyecare and said that Dr. Boothe was the first ophthalmologist and Lasik surgeon in Texas to use excimer laser for Lasik, when it got approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. After the corneal pachymetry at the Boothe Laser Center, Dr. Boothe said that I was not a candidate for Lasik procedure due to my thin corneas. I had Excimer Laser Photo Refractive Keratectomy (PRK) instead. The procedure was almost painless. Three weeks after PRK, my vision was 15/20 for both eyes. Nowadays, after 5 months, my eyesight is even better than when I was wearing contact lenses. I’m very happy with my results!
