Lasik Dallas – Dr William Boothe

I visited the Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center first in the end of December. After the first consultation I was pleased with my conversation with Dr. William Boothe and I was very satisfied with the overall service. It seemed that he knows what he is doing and he made observations that made sense to me.

Dr. Boothe said that IntraLastik surgery was the most suitable for my eye condition but I still hesitated. I came home and told my wife what his recommendations were. After consideration of all pros and cons I decided to call to center and schedule a date for my laser eye surgery.

On the first consultation with Dr. William Boothe they measured and found I had -3 in both eyes but after the IntraLastik procedure I have 1.0 vision! I experienced the difference between my vision before and after surgery, it is noticeable – I was driving on the third day after surgery and was able to notice many details along the way. In the first month after Lasik I felt dryness in my eyes, that was my only side effect after surgery. Particularly I noticed it when I was at work due to heavy load of working on a PC. I used the eyedrops he prescribed and the dryness went away after a few weeks.

My life can now be divided to two parts – uncomfortable life before surgery and my ”superman” life after surgery. Thanks to all the people who took part in my treatment.

My surgery went very well!

All my life I wanted to do laser eye surgery but I was a little scared. Two years ago my friend had an eye correction at the Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center. When she started to see clearly she was very happy. Since then I began thinking about my laser eye surgery. I read many success stories of different kinds of laser surgeries on their websitebut I hesitated because I did not know for how long the surgery will improve my vision. So far my friend has a good vision without any problems.

One evening I called my friend and asked her to go with me to the center. Next morning she called her counselor at the center and made an appointment with Dr. Boothe. When we arrived to Boothe’s Center I was a little excited. My friend took me to Boothe’s room.

I told Dr. Boothe that I wore glasses all of my life and the lately used contact lenses but each year I must switch my contact lenses because my sight changes and it cost a lot overall, with cleaning supplies etc. Dr. Boothe listened to me with attentive attitude and assured me that I can correct my vision without any complications. He asked me to go with his assistant to other rooms where they had examination devices to determine the exact condition of my eyes. It was absolutely painless and quick. His nurse was with me all the time and took me from one exam room to the other. In every room I met very pleasant nurses. They explained what I need to do and which equipment will be used. When the results were ready I waited for Dr. Boothe to was able to speak to me again. He very thoroughly learned my eye exam results and then looked at me and said that I was suitable for IntraLasik surgery. He explained the whole process which will be followed in my surgical procedure. He told me about the advantages of laser eye correction and its disadvantages. I asked how much it will cost and his assistant offered a price and financing plan that suited my expectations. I answered that I will consider and if I agree I will make a call to center. Dr. Boothe said that he will be glad to see me again.

One week later I called the center and the nurse appointed a day for IntraLastik vision correction surgery. My friend told me in detail about the procedure and reassured me that I could not find such a professional surgeon anywhere else in the U.S. When I came to the center I exactly knew what to expect.

Before surgery the nurse gave me papers which I had to sign. I waited about half an hour when the nurse came back and took me to a special room where I was prepared for surgery. I wore the sterile clothing and took a tranquilizing pill. When I was right the nurse took me to operating room. The nurse had me lay down on the operating table so she can put eye drops in my eyes. After about 3 minutes,Dr. Boothe began to operate my right eye. The laser surgery was absolutely painless. It only felt uncomfortable  when Dr. Boothe used the eye dilator. The surgery on my right eye only took three minutes. When he worked on my left eye, it was so quick that I did not feel anything.  After the surgery, I feel a little dizzy. The nurses took me to the postoperative room and helped me remove the clothing and asked me to rest before Dr. Boothe exams my eyes. I laid down and fell asleep for a couple of hours until the nurse woke me up. To exam my eyes, Dr. Boothe asked me to read the letters on the letter board. I was able to read 10 lines and it was great! The nurse gave me eye drops and a prescription and I was allowed to back home.

Before the surgery, I was afraid that there will be postoperative complications, but when I returned home I felt well! My friend visited me and helped me put eye drops in my eyes.

During the next day, I went back to Dr. Boothe so he can exam and test my eyes again. I was delighted when Dr. Boothe said I have  20/20 vision. The only regret I have is  that I waited so long to get this done!

If you are thinking of doing a laser eye surgery, I would recommend that you go to Dr. William Boothe to have it done. He is worthy of the high praise I read on this website.

My husband was operated personally by Dr. Boothe. He is grateful to everyone in the center who helped to improve his vision. Now my husband is getting accustomed to living without glasses….

I visited Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center some years ago. I had an appointment with Dr. Boothe and and his assistant was examining my eyes. My test results were analyzed later by Dr. Boothe. He said that I wasn’t a good candidate for lasik eye surgery. I was impressed with his honesty, he was not trying to sell me something I did not need. I recommend Dr. Boothe because if you consult with him you will try to find a solution that will fit your condition.

He advised me to do a PRK treatment to improve my eyesight. I underwent the surgery (has longer recovery time, was about a week) and my vision became a lot better.

Thanks a lot Dr. Boothe! I greatly appreciate Dr. Boothe’s honesty and intelligence. His staff provided emotional support and demonstrated genuine concern when I needed them.

Life without glasses

I had always wanted laser eye surgery because I have been very short-sighted. I dislike wearing thick glasses and contact lenses. I like swimming and other kinds of sports but lately it is impossible to do them due to my vision. It is scary to swim without glasses, I really could not see anything around me. I heard good things from my friends about Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center. I was told about the professional treatment, how they are using the newest technologies, and of course the excellent result after laser surgery performed at this Center. I was prompted to go to visit Boothe’s Center.

I felt anxious before the first consultation with Dr. Boothe. Nevertheless Dr. Boothe and his assistant made me feel confident enough and comfortable. He explained to me all the details of my future laser eye surgery. I have had many questions and Dr. Boothe took extra time to gave me full answers.

I decided to have surgery at Boothe Laser Center. My vision before surgery was -3.00 & -4.00. During the surgery, I didn’t worry because I felt that Dr. Boothe was the best surgeon in whole world to be performing the surgery. I had very dry eyes for a couple of days after the procedure. I put the eye drops that Dr. Boothe told me to use, I felt better and my vision got sharper.

Now, I am very happy with my almost perfect vision and glad I had done it at Boothe’s Center. I think I could not have had a better surgeon than Br. Boothe. I received the best care from Dr. Boothe and members of his staff. I wish that I had done LASIK earlier. I am pleased to tell every one about my experience at Boothe Eyecare.
